One Night with the King/GenerationX

For One Night with the King movie textures were created for low res poly models to be used in crowd scenes for use with Massive Software. The polycount needed to stay low because of the great numbers of models in each scene. Displacement maps were created in Zbrush and allowed us to use the resolution as needed for each scene. I also created textures for the tents, buildings, and animals. These were hand painted using C4D Bodypaint to ensure a natural look. Adding grit, dirt, and scratches to 3D objects is the key to adding realism.
